About Julian Langworthy

Growing up in Western Australia’s pristine Margaret River, with a father who studied pests in vineyards for the Agricultural Protection Board, Julian was fascinated by wine from a young age. After a brief dalliance with marine biology, he studied winemaking, ‘It seemed like it’d be fairer on the fish’, he jokes, then worked in France and Canada as well as Australia’s Clare Valley, Barossa Valley and Coonawarra regions.
In 2011, Julian returned to his hometown to reacquaint himself with his beloved Margaret River where Cabernet Sauvignon is the crown jewel – and Julian’s favourite variety.
