About Three Pillars

Three Pillars is the brainchild of Hamish Baldwinson, a long-time friend of CellarHand with decades of experience in the South Australian wine industry. The label was born in 2010 and is named for the three key pillars of a life well lived: wine, food and music. The range, which predates but has no connection to a certain gin brand with an extra pillar, has been conceived with varietal typicity and easy-going crowd-pleasing leisure in mind.

Hamish counts on his South Australian grower friendships and consumer awareness to produce a suite of wines that tick every box from sparkling through white and rosé to red, line-priced for ease and flexibility of selection.

Winemaker Keeda Zilm’s 16-year stint in the Clare Valley gives her a beautiful affinity with fresh, engaging styles. Working out of the winery of The Usual Suspects collective, Hamish and Keeda produce wines where balance and drinkability are at the forefront. No hard edges, no barriers—universally enjoyable vino primed for good times.
