Concentration and drive are calling cards of this wine, as are edgy texture, green apple and floral scents, green apple and fennel flavours with general ‘minerality’ in the mix. Zingy, zippy, long and shapely, this feels like high quality wine from the get-go. 94 points – Mike Bennie, The Wine Front.
Smoky and flinty with serious minerality for a village wine. Powerful yet fresh and rather filigree finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Respekt certified. Better from 2019 and good aging potential. 92 points – Stuart Pigott, jamessuckling.com
Papaya, muskmelon and even a hint of banana lend an exotic sense of ripeness to the nose, and that impression is delightfully reinforced by the succulence and glycerol-richness displayed on the palate. At the same time, chalk and maritime salinity lend counterpoint and intrigue. The lingering finish is at once lusciously fruity and saliva-inducingly saline. 91 points – David Schildknecht, Vinous Media.
