A few hours skin contact, some old oak, and a jolly good hard pressing, to wring out some more flavour. Good Gris.
Ripe brown pear, vanilla and white flowers, something like aniseed or liquorice in the mix too. It’s a little bit spicy, soft and cool feeling, quite juicy, subtle pear skin texture, and finishes well. Slight smokiness about it, though working as a positive.
