Mornington is such a great plus for gris. This has texture and flavour but it remains frisky. I believe that this wine saw some oak but it doesn’t really manifest itself in flavour terms; it just helps give it an impression of oomph. Dry pear, nectarine, lychee and woodsmoke flavours blend in with honeysuckle/florals. There’s enough gather here to lend it some texture but otherwise is races refreshingly along. Lovely wine.
