2019 Chalmers Rosato

Made mostly from Aglianico, with decent splashes of Nero d'Avola and Sagrantino. And the Aglianico is fermented in barrel, which explains the wine's lovely creamy texture. It's also vibrant, laced with bright spicy fruit and lemony acidity. The essence of summer in a glass. 93 points. Jane Faulkner, Halliday Wine Companion 2021

2018 Pittnauer Pitti Rosé

Strawberry and redcurrant, a slight smokiness, and green herb. Fresh style, all about acid drive, crunch and juicy blood orange tang. Chalkiness on a tart and lively finish. More a white wine style of Rose, but good energy here. 91 points. Gary Walsh, The Wine Front

2020 Shadowfax Minnow Rosé

Squishy strawberry, nutty, toffee apple, a bit of spice. Slippery style, soft acidity, good amount of flavour, slight blood orange tang, almost a thick peel marmalade character, but not really sweet as such, though it is what you might call a comely rosé. A little pith and pepper on the finish, and plenty of interest throughout. 91 points. Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
