2020 Shadowfax Minnow Rosé2020 Shadowfax Minnow Rosé$25.00
Squishy strawberry, nutty, toffee apple, a bit of spice. Slippery style, soft acidity, good amount of flavour, slight blood orange tang, almost a thick peel marmalade character, but not really sweet as such, though it is what you might call a comely rosé. A little pith and pepper on the finish, and plenty of interest throughout. 91 points. Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
2020 Shadowfax Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir2020 Shadowfax Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir$36.00
This is a fine, powerful example of cool-climate, high-altitude Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir. The nose shows brooding spice aromas including cardamom, star anise, sandalwood and citrus blossom, with maraschino cherries and wild berries. Blackberries and spice spill onto the expansive palate, which has elegant poise from seams of ripe grape tannins. It's persistent yet light on its feet, bringing you back for more.
2020 Shadowfax Macedon Ranges Gewürztraminer2020 Shadowfax Macedon Ranges Gewürztraminer$29.00
Shadowfax Macedon Ranges Gewürztraminer shows the exotic, fruity nature of Gewürztraminer allied to typical racy freshness from this high-altitude wine-growing region. Rose petal, candied lime and ginger spice are immediately captivating.  An undertone of minerality and darker cinnamon add a savoury complexity underneath while nectarine promises warmth and texture to follow. Tangerine and persimmon fruits spill onto the palate. There is a fleshiness to the wine that is held taut by the pithy acid line. Spicy ginger phenolics focus the palate, helping add structure and drive. The finish is fresh and zesty; full-flavoured acid and phenolics are enmeshed within the fruit. This has a very refreshing and lively palate.
2020 Shadowfax Macedon Ranges Chardonnay2020 Shadowfax Macedon Ranges Chardonnay$36.00
2020 Shadowfax Macedon Ranges Chardonnay comes from three superb, unique sites: Midhill, Mt Macedon and Little Hampton. Lemon tart and grapefruit spill immediately onto the palate. These fruit flavours are augmented with wild-ferment characters such as choux pastry and barrel-spice complexity. The wine walks a tightrope, with sherbet acidity and lime pith chiming in. The flowing palate is long and intense yet continually develops through your first, second and third glass.  A great example of cold-climate Macedon Ranges Chardonnay.
2020 Shadowfax Little Hampton Pinot Noir2020 Shadowfax Little Hampton Pinot Noir$63.00
Cherry sap and blackberry fruit fall immediately onto the palate with nuances of sandalwood, graphite and some white pepper spice. A focused and mineral core has drive, vibrancy and poise. Fine and lacy tannins frame the complex cardamom spice and subtle fruits. The wine has energy and lift that can only been seen in high-altitude, cool-climate Pinot Noir. This Little Hampton Pinot Noir is uncompromising in its purity and identity. - Al Timms, Shadowfax
2019 Shadowfax Mondeuse2019 Shadowfax Mondeuse$33.00
Mondeuse. Mon Dieu! 100% whole bunch. Beautiful light-bodied red. Floral, spicy pleasant sweet greenery of whole bunch, raspberry and red cherry. It’s earthy and lightly chalky, wonderful spread of pumice tannin, precise crunch and succulence all at once. The finish is all charm, length, root beer, violet and other sexy things. Love this. 94 points. Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
