Notes
80% of the grapes for the Blaufränkisch Moric Rerserve come from the steep slate and limestone slopes in Neckenmarkt and 20% from sandy and clayey soils on the Lutzmannsburg plateau, which is situated on a limestone subsoil. Grown on 25 to 55 year old vines, fermentation with spontaneous yeasts, open mash fermentation for 3 weeks, 20 months aging in 500 to 1000 liter barrels, no fining, no filtration. – Moric
