Refined aromas of citrus and meadow flowers with delicate herbal notions are underscored with a classic stony spice. Youthful indecision reveals billy-goat leaps between fruit, stone and spice and back, without ever losing its balance. Mineral momentum and picture-perfect in a year like 2021. This is Kabinett as only Germany, as only the Nahe, can do. This one is truly only getting started.

Notes
The Klamm, a Grosse Lage site, is situated directly adjacent to the Hermannshöhle. Its name is a very old word to describe the landscape, alluding to an incision in the craggy cliffs above. These vineyards are among the steepest found anywhere in the region, with extremely stony soils heavily comprised of volcanic porphyry mixed with black-grey slate.
The 2021 is a highly elegant Kabinett Riesling with sophisticated, high-acid fruits such as citrus and peach and almost delicate, Meyer lemons and back-palate stoniness.
