A pretty-smelling little thing with aromas of wild strawberries, red cherry, rose petals, sous bois, mushroom broth, cherry clafoutis and a light gamey nuance. The fruit is bright and instantly endearing, the acidity sapid and brisk and there are layers of spice, game and undergrowth as the wine slowly fades off into the distance. Our 100% biodynamic, estate-grown Stefano Lubiana Primavera Pinot Noir is mostly wild fermented, de-stemmed and taken off skins early to retain lots of fruit flavour. The grapes are hand picked, hand sorted and fermented with own yeasts and some whole bunches. Basket pressed after about three weeks. Our Primavera is made to be approachable, with silky tannins, soft acidity and great generosity of fruit flavour.
