2009 Velich Welschriesling Trockenbeerenauslese 375ml

Velich’s Trockenbeerenauslese from Welschriesling comes from the Seewinkel on Lake Neusiedl, where constant early morning fog and high humidity ensures the formation of botrytis. Made exclusively from rasiined grapes, it is spontaneously fermented, and then matured in used barriques for more than 10 years. This 2009 vintage has spent 15 years in bottle, and has developed all those tertiary notes of dried tobasso, roasted coffee, bitter orange peel and dried dates and plums.
