The 2017 Chalmers Lambrusco Appassimento comprises 100% Lambrusco Maestri. The grapes were hand picked from the family’s Murray Darling vineyard of red sand and limestone soil. The grapes were naturally rack dried and wild fermented. Vegan friendly. The wine is of balanced sweetness, with notes of dark cherry, dark chocolate and black cardamom. Drink now, until 2030. 1.5kg of grapes in every bottle. Lambrusco Maestri vines imported by Chalmers in 2001. First Appassimento produced by Chalmers in 2009.
