100% Carcaghjolu Neru (native to Corsica). Importer: CellarHand Intense colour. Cherry, floral, iron and dried herb. Medium-bodied, though quite dense in texture, ripe sweet dark cherry, suede tannin, a bit stony with fine glassy acidity and good length. Such a distinctive wine. Interesting and excellent to drink. 94 points. Gary Walsh, The Winefront Jun 2025

100% Carcaghjolu Neru (native to Corsica and known for producing richly coloured by conversely relatively light wines) grown on vines planted in 1989 on Miocene sands and sandstone. Double-grafted in 2010. Handpicked, 50% destemmed and 50% whole-bunch. Fermented in oak cask with indigenous yeast. Maceration and fermentation last for 20 days with pigeage 1-2 times a day. 14-18 months of maturing in oak cask. No fining and very lightly filtered before bottling.
This Carcaghjolu Neru has a very original nose with fruity-floral and herbal flavours. An airy wine with a beautiful structure and length and a powerful, fresh finish. Manu Venturi, Clos Venturi
