Grown on quite fertile, grunty soils with 90 hectares planted on a 120-hectare site.
2024 was a dream growing season for Tasmanian Pinot Noir. Modest crop levels enjoyed settled summer and early autumn weather patterns, with long, moderate days and pristine, cool nights. Fruit quality at harvest was extremely high, with superb concentration and pristine acidity.
This wine is a blend of 16% Tasman Peninsula, 41% East Coast and 43% Coal River Valley fruit. Small parcels fermented separately in open-top fermenters with twice-daily cap management. The wine matured for 10 months in new (20%) and seasoned French oak before blending and bottling.
