First things first: it’s flavoursome. It tastes of pears and honey, roasted spices and something floral, like frangipani. That would be enough in itself, but it also feels characterful; there’s a waxiness to the texture, and a tautness, along with whispers of crushed fennel and brine. It can easily be enjoyed as a ‘fruity white wine’, but if you want to look deeper, there’s plenty to discover. 94 points. Campbell Mattinson, Wine Companion
